Christine Barnes
Christine E. Barnes is a Jamaican-Canadian revolutionary writer and poet. Her writings display an array of genres from fiction, non-fiction, extensive prose and short stories, to intriguing, humorous, love inspired and politically/socially conscious poetry. She is a recent graduate of York University, with a B.A. in English and a self-made minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Many of her works can be found on LiterateNubian.org, The Open Canvas, Honeychile, Brownskin Magazine and York University’s premier newspaper, The Excalibur. She is originally from Toronto but currently resides in Osaka, Japan where she teaches English as a Second Language for AEON Corp.

Cynthia Paulino
Cynthia Paulino is a poet and a short story writer. Her work has appeared in several magazines and newspapers throughout the United States and Latin America, most recently in Sos Voz, Poetry in Performance, and Bear River Review. She is presently studying literature in both the English and Spanish language at The City College of New York under a full scholarship. Additionally, she studied Argentinean and Latin American literature in an Argentinean Study Abroad Program at the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. She currently resides in New York City, where she continues to write, study, and dream her favorite Caribbean summers.
